They Teamed for Success
Valérie, your Hostess, and Ratib, your Chef, own the Continental Flambé. Ratib’s training began in Washington, D.C. in such places as the Watergate Hotel, Powers Court Restaurant, and Anton’s. However, prior to that, he cut his teeth in the business by working with his father-in-law in Paris-who was a respected chef for over 35 years. Ratib gratefully learned many skills and techniques, and went on to work with some of the best chefs in the world. Ratib now takes great pride in working side-by-side his handpicked chefs at Continental Flambé.
Valerie takes care of the “front of the house.” She trains every waiter and hostess. She personally cares for the guests, keeps the dining room running smoothly and especially enjoys her interactions with the guests. You’ll enjoy the influence of her personal touch in your dining experience at Continental Flambé. Valerie and Ratib’s focus on each meal and each guest will be evident after your first visit.

Award Winning Restaurant
Continental Flambé has won many awards for its cuisine and wine list over the years. It has been the recipient of the Golden Spoon Awards from Florida Trend Magazine, and this year Wine Spectator honored Continental Flambé with the Best Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world (the only restaurant in Brevard County ever to receive such recognition). Zagat Survey reviewed Continental Flambé as “Melbourne best little secret” and awarded the following ratings: Food-27; Service-24; Decor-23; Cost-27 for 2001-2003.
